Lea Gull: Legal Eagle Seagull

Let me tell you a story about Lea Gull

She was the Seagull Legal Eagle

Looked down on by the other lawyer birds of prey

She had to work twice as hard for half the pay

The raptors all had the ties and looked the part

Lea came entirely from a standing start

Without protest she took on all the other birds quips

About her always being on the scavenge for chips

But though she was a lawyer by day

At night she tackled crime in another way

As a masked superhero she took up the crime fight

Taking on wrongdoers and putting inequalities right

Keeping the streets safe for every one and all

Keeping communities together and standing tall

Looking after all the little guys

Teaching those on the streets to be wise.

Then one day the crime syndicates came together

The Hawks, Ravens and Crows, Evil birds of a feather

Once more the odds heavily stacked against Lea

Taking on those that would spread pain, misery and fear

Lea didn’t duck her challenge and took them face on

Prevent their plans of causing hurt and wrong

And although the fight with them left Lea a mess

No vigilante rules: Lea got them to the court for justice

But even then, that was only half the battle done

In the courts for real justice Lea had to take them on

In the background the Eagles made doubts and sneers

The pressure of getting the conviction brought Lea oft to tears

Lea pushed through all the crime bosses intimidations and threats

Ensuring the wrongdoers received the punishment they should get

With that result, the Eagles were impressed, Lea was a hero they agreed

Lea had shown that even in an eagle’s world a gull can truly succeed
